Tata Steel share price: Tata stock gets BUY call from Antique on strong domestic demand; know target

It said that domestic HRC prices have recovered (by around 7 per cent), driven by the imposition of safeguard duty. The domestic HRC prices continue to be a premium to Chinese import parity prices. But it mentioned that sport HRC prices are down 3 per cent from May 2025 led by early monsoon onset.

"Lower coking coal prices and strong domestic volumes stand to support profitability of Indian steelmakers," the brokerage said and noted that the imposition of domestic trader barriers could support Indian steelmakers.

It has recommended buy rating on Tata Steel shares for target price of Rs 165.

Tata Steel shares on Thursday (June 5) traded at Rs 158.30 at 1 PM.

Tata Steel is a largecap company, having a market cap of Rs 1.97 lakh crore.

As per BSE analytics, Tata Steel shares have slipped 7 per cent in the last one year. Tata Stee shares have rallied 44 per cent i 2 years and 48 per cent in 3 years. In 5 years, the counter has zoomed more than 350 per cent.
