Bonus Issue Of Shares : Four companies from different segments have fixed record dates for their declared bonus issues in June 2025. The announcements were made over a period through different exchange filings.
As per the corporate actions data available on the BSE website at 11:09 AM on June 10, four companies with bonus issues record date in June include VTM Ltd, Vimta Labs Ltd, Bajaj Finance Ltd and V-Mart Retail Ltd.
A bonus issue of stock is when a company issues extra free shares to its current owners, in proportion to their current ownership, out of accumulated profits or reserves rather than cash dividends. For instance, a 1:1 bonus issue sees a shareholder who owns 100 shares receive 100 extra shares, making their total 200.
The share price changes proportionally so that the company's market capitalisation is not affected, so that the total value of the investment does not change.
Bonus shares are issued by companies to boost liquidity, attract individual investors by reducing the share price, and convey financial health. Eligibility normally involves holding shares prior to the company's ex-date and record date.

The Bajaj Group company has announced a bonus issue in the ratio of 4:1. This means that eligible shareholders will receive 4 bonus equity shares of face value Re 1 each for every 1 equity share of face value Re 1 each fully paid up.To determine who will be eligible to receive the bonus shares in 4:1 ratio, Bajaj Finance has fixed Monday, June 16, 2025, as the record date.
V-Mart Retail Bonus Share
The fashion retail company has announced a bonus issue in the ratio of 3:1.The board of directors has fixed Monday, June 23, 2025, as the record date for the purpose of determining the equity shareholders of the company eligible for bonus equity shares of the company.
